Pro-Forme System
The Pro-Forme hollowing system is one of the finest free-hand, end grain/hollow form turning tools on the market. It has a hardened M2 high speed steel cutter that is open on the side to prevent clogging common with other end grain/hollowing tools. Its adjustable safety gauge determines the depth of cut and prevents dig-ins. Each cutter is both re-sharpenable and replaceable to ensure a long working life from these tools.
The straight shaft is the most frequently used tool, it will produce the opening and remove the wood down the sides and across the bottom of the vessel.
The slight and heavy bend tools are designed for working under the shoulder of the work piece through a smaller
opening or with a reverse curve shape that limits the approach of the straight tool.
All Pro-Forme tools feature a heavy duty 5/8” diameter shaft that will reach upto 10” over the tool rest.

ProMaster 20” Spigot Handle
Rigidity is a must when hollowing, for vessels deeper than 10” (250mm) slide the 5/8” shaft back into the handle, the 1 1/8” handle now becomes the shaft, you can then add additional ProMaster handles as you go deeper to suit your
particular application. The new ProMaster handle features a padded foam grip for comfort and 5/8” end spigot to add
further handles the deeper you go.

Pro Scraper Head
Fits any of the Pro-Forme tools and can be used as a traditional scraper or can be positioned at an angle in a way no other
scrapers can. The Pro Scraper Head produces a sheer cut inside a vessel and a super smooth surface significally reducing sanding time.

Irons Tool Gate
Designed specifically for use with 5/8” and 1 1/8” diameter round tools. The Phil Irons Tool Gate is safe and easy to use for all skill
levels, it features a pivoting ‘U' shaped saddle that supports the tool providing excellent tool control while cutting.
The gate extension platform connects firmly to the tool support post. By rotating the gate extension in the tool rest support you have an almost endless choice of angles to work from. An adjustable locking collar on the tool post can be secured in place after the correct tool height has been achieved.
The Irons Tool Gate will work with Pro-Forme hollowing tools, Stewart tools, Sorby RS2000 tools, Berger hollowing tools and many others.
Includes 5/8” and 1 1/8” ‘U' shaped tool guides, platform and a toolpost.

Cup Hollowing Tool
A simple hollowing and slicing tool with affordable replacement cup
cutters that can be easily sharpened with the Stem Sharpener from the Tru-Gring Sharpening system
The cup hollower can be used to cut small end grain goblets and vases
cutting from the inside outwards, it cuts on its side with the bevel rubbing,
slicing cleanly around the bottom curve of bowls.
I use it to do the final finishing cuts on bowls when you are using the Woodcut Bowlsaver and only want to take the minimum amount of wood away especially when doing a nest of bowls.
It gives an excellent finish and is most effective with curly or burred grain.
