All Vicmarc drive dogs and tail centres are 2MT. The Pro-Live centre is hollow and has a removable point to facilitate long hole boring, the 4 fingers allow the swarf to escape. The Heavy Duty Cup, Cone and Pro centres have double bearings.

Back to Top Hollowing Tool Support

The ultimate tool support system is the smoothest and easiest to use due to the use of sealed bearings in the support column and in each articulated joint. Unlike other gated tool support systems the only friction comes from just the tool in contact with the toolrest. It will accept tool diameters of 3/4", 5/8", 1/2" and 3/8". A laser wall thickness and depth gauge attachment with laser is included in the package as well as a toolpost locking collar for setting the height of the toolpost.

It has a camlock base to fit the standard Vicmarc bedways to ensure fast and accurate set up and ease of manoeuverability. All adjustments for height and reach are made using ratchet levers.

Back to Top Outboard Turning attachment

The Vicmarc Outboard turning attachments are available to facilitate large diameter turning on VL175 with the head swiveled through 90 degrees and outboard on the VL200 and VL300 series lathes. They can also be fitted to other makes of lathe as long the headstock end of the bench or cabinet is flat.

The main support post is 40mm in diameter and is supported by heavy duty castings and locked with indexed locking levers.

This is a very rigid outboard turning attachment and has recently been upgraded with a swan neck to increase access to the workpiece a lot easier.

These steadies are designed for Vicmarc lathes but can be adapted for other flat bed lathes with the same centre heights as Vicmarc lathes.

This multi centred drive dog will fit all lathes with the addition of a thread insert from the VL120 chuck , just specify your spindle thread when ordering. M33 x3.5 direct thread available for European lathe owners.

The 40mm and 25mm dogs had adjustable points for use in hard and soft woods.

It also doubles as a thread protector.

This accessory is designed to punch a drive dog impression on to your stock. By doing so, it will save undue thrust on the lathe and damaging your drive dog.

The Vicmarc- dns Gauge Master was specially designed for wood turners to save time and money. This device incorporates angle checking and centre finding. This product is manufactured in Australia from injection moulded aluminium for durability. It also includes symbols as a guide for sharpening angles of various tools. The Gauge Master is clearly marked and easy to read

600mm & 1000mm toolrests require an additional camlock banjo.

The 1000mm Bed Extension for mounting on to VL300ESVX, includes 4 x M14 high tensile bolts with two hardened bushes for accurate location. A 500mm bed extension is available. The heavy duty stand shown above is available to accommodate extension bed.

The stand is not included with the bed extension . It is available as an optional extra. (see price list)
